So my husband paid over $400 dollars to take me to a concert which I couldn't see. It was a group of around 8 people, and the management did NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Then, the people 2 rows in front of us stood up through the entire concert, blocking the view of several rows behind them. When Dwight Yoakam came on at 9 pm, the sound was way off, too loud, so that it drowned out his voice. This travesty went on for almost an hour. They brought out a horrible warm up guy named Matt Whipkey who was off key, and the sound was so deafening that I had to cover my ears. Tonight's concert was scheduled for 8 pm.
The first was Merle Haggard and the 2nd was Loretta Lynn and they were both enjoyable.
My husband and I attended the Dwight Yoakam concert at River City tonight and we had such a bad experience that we doubt we'll ever go to another concert there.
